People seeing your work does nothing to ruin your work
I don’t know what you do for a living aside from knowing beyond a doubt that it has nothing to do with art, but would you want someone to plaster the internet with something you were working on as part of your day job before you were finished doing it? Think about all the bitching and whining people do about completed episodes, and try to consider how many problems those episodes had before being edited and tweaked and touched up.
 
That would suck, yeah!  
But was it the first piece that got leaked, or the 100th?  
Did I take any steps to fix the leak?  
Should I sit in a corner and cry about it, or fix the problem?

So what you’re saying, then, is that if you took basic steps to keep [your thing] from being stolen and someone stole it anyway, that would make you just as much of an asshole as the thief? I am fairly certain that DHX had some kind of basic internal security, bruh.
 
Not once did I imply that the staff were assholes or at fault in any way. I simply stated that, if you don’t want something stolen, don’t leave it out over night or on an unsecured ftp server.

Some of us shit on some of the choices, or the meddling from hasbro, but I can’t see people hanging around on a board for a show they hate.
 
Then again, I’m not from the piss, maybe they have the occasional complaint threads.

I never said they couldn’t feel bad, that’s perfectly reasonable and I sympathize.  
But this is far from the first time it’s happened, and the leaks have gotten worse and worse each time. We’ve gone from a song leaking from season 2 to synopses leaking before the season starts to full episode leaks, and now straight up leaks of production assets and unfinished episodes. This isn’t you getting on a bus with a drunk driver and getting injured, this is you getting on the same bus with the same driver over and over despite it always ending the same way.  
Maybe if these leaks end up cutting into hasbro’s pockets next year, they’ll take it more seriously and get some better security.

Ayyy, I wasn’t sure you’d be able to work out what I was implying. Proud of u man.
 
Here’s the thing, people that want to do bad things are going to do those bad things, even a lot of the ones you specifically “teach” not to. There’s a reason you lock your door at night, and there’s a reason to take steps to prevent bad things from happening to you and your property.
 
I do sympathize, but crying out into the ether won’t fix the problem. My bike got stolen once, shit sucked. I learned my lesson, though, and I now take steps to keep it from happening again.
