… okay, i’m a bit lost. was this made simply in jest, or does the animator have some unexplained beef with immatoonlink?

hmmm… forgive me for sounding pedantic, but did daring do’s entrance seem to have overly severe motion tweening? it kinda looks like she’s being moved into the center of the shot on a conveyor belt while bobbing up and down a bit. eh, i’m not complaining, this is still a badass scene.

i don’t know why, but those couple of frames where daring do has her hoof planted all up in the panther’s jaw seem very pikapetey-esque to me.

to make a long story short, doug walker is a comedian/film critic best known for playing the role of the nostalgia critic in the eponymous web series. his style of comedy is seen as very hit-or-miss; some find him annoying, other (like myself) find him funny. here’s a handy visual reference:  

he has linked to pony videos in his facebook feed before, so i don’t think he dislikes the series on a whole. plus, he has included mlp references in his videos before (e.g. son of the mask) but he was pretty much neutral about the show so i don’t really see a problem here. i mean, even if he does dislike it, does that really affect anything?

for the record, godzilla, it’s a really terrible idea to add tags like “terrible joke” and “real tasteful there jerk”. that counts as metadata vandalism, which doesn’t exactly endear yourself to the mods. if you have a problem with this picture, feel free to vent in the comments section, but try and stay the hell away from the tags (unless you put in a really amusing or clever tag; people tend to overlook those.)

i’m pretty certain they can. it’s pretty common for child voice actors to stay on the same show for many years, albeit with their voices adjusted; for example, nathan ruegger was still doing skippy squirrel on animaniacs even as a teenager. in fact, i think dhx already does adjustments for claire corlett, but i’m not 100% sure.

hatred and bigotry can’t always be pinned to just one cause, but there are recurring themes in motivations for inter-religious hatred. one popular explanation is the phenomenon of in group-out group bias, which has its origins in the survival instincts of early man. it’s been speculated that back during the evolutionary days of our species, being grouped with people that thought and acted congruously helped propagate the survival and prosperity of said group due to better security and bonding… which, of course, has not stood the test of time very well. there are other factors at play, such as personal prejudices and societal pressures, but a lot of it stems from a primal, humanistic cause.
