Classy retrieves KRD from her inflated prison. Finally, with freedom in sight, all they need to do is walk out of the HyClass testing facility. It’s a shame that Latex Trap has other plans.
Now slowly being encased in 100 layers of adhesive latex, Dashie squirms in lustful horror as it becomes harder and harder for them to move. The additional layers tightening against their body, resisting any and all attempts to stretch or tear it. Their features become less and less defined as each layer adds to her perfectly smooth appearance.
By the time Classy is done, no-one but him will know who is in there. As he strokes his hands across KRD’s chest with the application of layer 100, all they feel is a faint pressure against their new prison.
Tight, Nulled, and with no Stimulus at all, they’re left to ponder how long Classy will leave them this time. Only for something to start stirring deep within…

I did plan to have a story ready for this one, but as usual, I couldn’t organize a piss-up in a brewery. I’d say its about 30% done and I’m working on a little each night. So Maybe by next year?

well my hands are starting to feel a little better, and it is now time for an update:
I’ve been chewing on all the technical rpgmaker mumbo jumbo, and this baby is a few rough bug testing seshes and debugging rounds away from being posted to itch.io. There’s a bunch of things that I want to draw for this thing, but they’ll have to wait. If I pause the project every time something I want to draw pops into my head, then this thing will never come out.
So here’s my priority list:
1- String the CGs together, including permanent switches
2- Rigorous testing
3- Personal debugging (If this doesn’t go anywhere, return to step 2.)
4- Take screenshots for the itch.io page
5- Set up the itch.io page

7- Turn attention back to Sala’s Escape with newfound knowledge.

I’ve already laid down some groundwork for the Chaos level that will be coming out at some point in the future. The Maid Level just needs some more tinkering and a coat of paint. The Vampire Level also has a few teeth marks in it, but we’ll come back to that another day. Still wanna figure out how I’m going to do the Asylum. I worry it will need spritework. But this is all future stuff. At the earliest, it’ll be when I’ve got a combat system for Sala’s Escape primed, ready, and out the door.

at the time of writing, I’ve adjusted the size of the battler sprites via WaifuExtend. Didn’t need my hand for that, and won’t need both hands for what I intend to do in the next few minutes (placing encounters etc.)
What I will need my hand for is the optional visual gubbins when I complete everything (I might go back and revisit the title screen too.)
Edit: I ran a little test, and it seems that upon all the characters being droned, the game resumes as normal, but with no party members… huh… let’s see what happens if I program the test encounter with the defeat common event
Edit 2: Hmm, it seems the same thing happens when defeated… maybe some switches will be needed… can’t have the game break because all of the characters get droned, now can we? Looks like that will have to be a new game over screen.
Edit 3: I made a parallel event that runs if all three drone switches have been turned on. This event was supposed to just give back all three actors and display “Take your fucking princesses back!” and then continue as normal. However, it went straight to the game over screen. So we’ve laid the groundwork for a game over. Now I just need to make sure that when the drone level is complete the player can retrieve any princesses turned into drones.
Edit 4: I’ve decided to say “fuck it” and just stick an event at the end of the boss encounter. Bing bang boom. Princesses undroned after you beat her.
Edit 5: I’m an idiot. I forgot to put the Droned Princesses in as enemies. Didn’t even put the sprites in! Boy howdy am I a dumb dumb! I’m getting on that right now
Edit 6: I am doing my best to randomize the Drone Princess Encounters. It is NOT easy. My poor fingers can’t take much more of this tonight. I think I’m throwing in the towel for now. But we’re moving things right along.
Edit 7: I simplified the Drone Princess Encounters. Since the drone encounters are all randomized from a common event, it was simple. So all that remains is some tinkering, writing, and playtesting.

You know when you’re running and exhaustion starts to set in and you say to yourself “I can’t walk another step”. But then you’re like “but what if I can though?” You wanna test yourself. So you take another step, and then another, and then another and another, and before you know it, you’ve gone another mile. Maybe two. How far can you actually go? That was the little game I played with myself. What does “unbearable” really mean?
Some people like to describe life as a road you walk down.
I like to view it less like a road and more like a maze that you’re dropped right in the middle of with no way of knowing how close you are to one of the many exits that will put you into bigger, slightly better labyrinths.
Some people can get out of that maze immediately while others spend their entire life treading through it, and that’s fine because the point isn’t to avoid the maze altogether, it’s to find a maze you enjoy exploring.
You might find the exit right away or you might be walking for eternity, but one thing is for sure, you’ll never find it if you just sit there and stagnate.
So just keep moving forward.
Don’t forget to say howdy to everyone you see along the way, perhaps that howdy is all they need to walk another mile.

It’s less the leftover mark from Firefly, and more just RD’s early cutie mark (though, yes, based on Firefly’s cutie mark). For some reason, it briefly appears in a blink-and-and-you-miss-it shot in ‘Dragonshy’, when she’s about to jump the chasm. Which is such a weird error. You’d think the old cutie mark wouldn’t even sneak its way into the production cycle. I guess maybe that shot was animated as one of the first, but then Rainbow already has her current mark in that super early animation test from 2009.

Here’s my opinion.
If it is fictional, as long as it stays that way, you’re good. Sure, fiction can get weird, or even downright gross.
But does that mean the creator reflects what they wrote in the real world? No, of course not, unless explicitly stated or proven otherwise.
That’s why it’s called fiction and not reality. The entire point of fiction is to explore concepts and stories with free reigns, and the inability to hurt anyone with what you write.
You can write gross and even hurtful things as I mentioned, yes. But at the end of the day, they are just oddly shaped lines on a page. They can’t jump out and start attacking people, and it’s nonsensical to act like that’s a thing that can happen.
Things like incest, foalcon, etc. are unquestionably against objective morals in the real world. But that’s the thing: we aren’t in the real world. It doesn’t make sense to judge someone based on how they utilize a fiction space, because they do so with full knowledge that nothing they do there has any effect on the real world.
It’s a very complicated and touchy subject, but I’ll leave you with this: If you’re not willing to explore certain concepts in fiction because they make you squeamish or you simply don’t like them? Sure, go ahead and abstain from that, you’re valid.
But as always, don’t force your personal limits onto other people. Just because you can’t handle it, and you can’t see the fine line between fiction and reality, doesn’t mean no one else can.
Again, something like a “harkness test” only exists for those who feel bad when their fictional world feelings contradict their real world feelings, which is a thing that can happen, and is perfectly normal.
Fictional horror and gore fanatics aren’t psychopaths, just as fictional incest or foalcon lovers aren’t creeps. They’re people who enjoy fictional stories, and nothing more. They haven’t committed any crimes.
There’s a good reason why certain fiction hasn’t been restricted and outlawed. First of all, freedom of speech, and second of all, the government (somehow) comprehends that cartoons and fantasy stories aren’t equivalent to real life desires.
The only time they have been is when someone expresses a pre-existing real world desire. You heard me right, fictional content doesn’t make people real life weirdos, it simply affirms or gratifies people who are already like that. Again, the content itself does nothing, it’s how you choose to react to it that causes harm.
We need to stop putting the blame on innocent creators and fans, and start putting it on individuals who choose to act the way that they do. Most people are able to separate fiction and reality. That’s why most adult fiction is, well, adult fiction. It’s not for kids, who are unable to do that.
With that, it looks like we’ve gone over all the reasons why morally gray fictional content is valid and unharmful. To recap, the creators of fictional content do not believe or condone what happens in their stories to be replicated in the real world, fiction is completely separate from reality and, therefore, the same rules don’t apply, and those who choose to cause harm in the real world and blame it on the fiction they consume are obviously, themselves, the ones at fault and not the fiction or its creators.
Hope that was informative. This is a topic I’m rather passionate about, and so this wasn’t too difficult to type up. If you learned a thing or two about fiction and morality, great! If you didn’t, that’s okay too.
Just don’t force your beliefs onto others. And yes, again, they are personal boundaries and beliefs that you use to govern yourself, not other people. They don’t determine whether something is good or bad, merely if you wish to interact with it or not.
