So I take it that it’s not possible to search for pics made by a given artist plus at least one more artist? Well then, I’ll leave a suggestion for a site feature which probably was given in the past, but hey, at least it’s not “make field selectors for amount of tags of each category and of total tags” which you probably hear every day. Including this one.
 
Make it so that each search term between parentheses “captures” its match and the other search terms ignore that tag’s presence in that given pic.
 
For example:
 
– a search for (thanks), (obama) wouldn’t change, because it would resolve to thanks, obama;
 
– (thanks), (tha*), however, instead of effectively ignoring the first term and return the same as just tha*, would return only the pics tagged with thanks and one or more other tags which satisfy tha*;
 
– I suppose that (tha*), (thanks), on the other hand, would be the same as tha*. Or maybe not. The priority is up to you, I’m just an innocent bystander;
 
– a litmus test for this functionality is that searching for obama, obama would return no results. Thanks, Obama!
