Low maintenance cost if it’s an interior piece. I will admit that vinyl wrap on a Wagon isn’t my favorite method for having fake wood on the sides, however:

What a faded 1969 Mercury. I’d rather have the wood painted on, at least then it can be touched up, polished and waxed easy.

We’ve posted cop cars from Dubai before, but I have never seen a custom rig like this before. It’s a “Beast Patrol” police vehicle. Doors are interesting. Not sure if that is a design to make it easier to put criminals inside or something else? I’d love to know engine specs. Surely it’s more practical than a supercar.

The new Camaro is ugly. I wish Chevy would redesign the whole body. The Camaro would be a tremendous car if they just fixed the massive blind spots and made it look less like a Hot Wheels toy. But considering they literally made a Hot Wheels edition, that seems unlikely.

Ford has decided not to release the Ranger Raptor in America, the largest truck market in the world.

I…uh… what? I can at least follow their “no cars” logic, even if I think it’s stupid, but this? Is Ford making decisions via dartboard at this point? Mad libs? One of those chickens that plays tic-tac-toe?

I looked up a little bit on it, and two possible explanations were that the twin-turbo diesel engine wouldn’t work for the US, and/or that it would be priced too close to the regular Raptor to justify it. To which I’d say A: who cares, just use the Focus RS engine (if it has to be a 4-cylinder,) and B) then consider rethinking your pricing scheme. There’s definitely demand for a Raptor that isn’t the size of a semi truck.

Price brackets are what is most important, yes. I think they did market analysis on the whole deal. Not sure if the Chevy Colorado is having the same issues in the market. Seems like a Raptor Ranger would be a great competitor for the Colorado ZR2
 
This article makes it seem like the Raptor Ranger would interfere with the great selling numbers of the F150 Raptor. If Ford could make the Ranger and F150 look more different, perhaps they could have the best of both worlds in North America

I find it hard to believe Ford can’t fit the 2.7 Ecoboost under the Ranger’s hood.
 
It’s not like a Ranger Raptor has to be priced close to the full size Raptor. Basically they just upgrade the engine and suspension. It shouldn’t be more than, say, $8,000 over a mid-trim Ranger. If it’s too expensive that’s Ford’s own fault.
 
Maybe the Jeep pickup or midsize Ram will be more appealing.
