Actually RD, exercise has a fair point in losing fat.
Some people get losing weight and losing fat mixed up sometimes.
Usually when someone says “they want to lose weight” they’re thinking of muscle.
Muscle is dense and doesn’t exactly make you “lose weight”.
Muscle in some cases has made people heavier than they were when they were fat.
The difference is their ability to control their movement.
They can lift more,
Run farther and faster,
Endure more.
At the moment, I’m eating my average intake and working out.
I used to get the 2 mixed up too until I finished biology.
I’m gaining weight, but I’m also gaining muscle. Which is the outcome I wanted.
So in this case, Zincy is right.
If you’re going for a lightweight build, eat less and work.
If you’re going for an average build, don’t change the way you eat, but do exercise.
If you’re going for a very large muscle build, eat more and work out more.
It’s calculated.
