Every year in June, companies all over America paint their logos and characters with rainbows. They either do this to support their LGBT fans and customers, or (more likely) to attract their wallets: that is what they also do around every Christmas with their decorations.
Angered by this, the conservatives and Christians complain at those companies’ comments sections about their shows being “indoctrinated by gay propaganda” and wanting to quit those shows. After that, they get into fights with LGBT commenters. (Examples: >>2068545, >>2066715)
As an amateur writer and artist, this makes me wonder something: because of comment fights like these, should I pander to the conservatives and Christians, or should I pander to the LGBTs?
Or is it better to ignore both of them and write as I wish?
