Maybe its because we haven’t got concrete evidence of how time travel works so writers can go crazy with different time travel ideas.

So, I just finished Golden Time for the first time. Here are my thoughts.

*I think the second OP is the best anime OP ever. I just feel it encapsulates the show and Koko’s character so well. Speaking of…
 
*I’m in love with the Koko
 
*It’s kinda hard not to compare Golden Time to Toradora given both are by the same person. With that being said, I think Toradora is better for a couple reasons. First, Golden Time didn’t have a standout episode a la the Christmas bear episode. It had some phenomenal episodes, like the car episode and the episode where Banri and Koko are honest with each other, but nothing I would say was best of all time.
 
Second, a lot of the Golden Time characters didn’t really have development. In fact, the only characters that did were Banri, Koko, and Nana. Golden Time has a cast full of memorable characters. However, I don’t feel a lot of them were fully developed like the Toradora cast were. I mean, Ms. Yuri, a secondary character in Toradora, was more fully fleshed out than a character like Mitsuo and Linda. Both Mitsuo and Linda are good characters in my opinion, but I feel they could have had more character development.
 
*I think Golden Time had a better, more fulfilling ending than Toradora.
 
*Golden Time has a lot of similarities to Bunny Girl Senpai. Both have a plot involving around a character who has amnesia and there’s this conflict where their past memories are coming back and their current memories will be erased. However, I feel Bunny Girl Senpai did it better.
 
*Koko and Banri make such a cute couple.
 
*Fuck Ghost Banri
 
Overall, I enjoyed the show a lot. I’d give it an 8 out of 10. Is it the masterpiece that Toradora is? No. However, it’s very enjoyable and has a lot of memorable characters. Also, once again, that second OP is in my opinion the best OP of all time.

Does the legend of Korra ever try to prove Amon wrong other than “hur dur he a waterbender”

They just put a nonbender president in power and this apparently solve every grievance the nonbenders had about their inequality.

It’s kind of a, “He has a point, but it’s his methods that are the problem” deal.

I’m actually watching Korra again, and I’m just now getting to the parts of Book 2 that I hadn’t seen before, so it’s all more or less completely new to me at this point even if I know a few details.

I’m disappointed Amon’s lieutenant didn’t turn out to be the President. Guy just kinda disappeared after Book 1.

So anyway, I got through the second half of Book 2 and all of Book 3 of Korra today. Goddamn, I sure missed out on a lot.

Definitely the best ones so far. Definitely better than Unalaq for sure (even if he did turn out to have been involved with them originally).
 
Also, GODDAMN they went all-out with the brutal deaths in Book 3, even if the Earth Queen’s death was the only one directly shown on-screen.

yeah Book 3 is amazing, Also mad props to tenzin for showing how different it is to fight someone who not only knows how to fight you but knows the moves better than you do, then being likely the first Airbender the people your facing have ever seen let alone fought,

I’m gonna binge through Book 4 tomorrow. Definitely looking forward to that one based on what I know about it.

Also… goddamn, Zaheer, you REALLY didn’t think that “Force Korra into the Avatar State” part of your plan through, did you?
