Yet his reviews tend to be more interested in analysing what he’s reviewing with the comedy parts to keep it entertaining. So just because he doesn’t try to bore his audience, he’s not a serious reviewer? That’s dumb.

Maybe that’s a problem with the “serious” reviewers and not the “comedic” reviewers.

I feel like people are going to be under the illusion that serious reviewers are going to be more accurate/in depth than comedic reviewers, which will be bullshit.

It comes down to the quality of the individual reviewer, not the overall type of reviews they make.

True, but if serious reviews become popular, I fear that people will be under the “serious = good” mindset moreso than actual quality.

It’s kind of funny when there’s a comedic reviewer who’s analyse things deeper than some serious reviewers, like Silver Quill.

Just as long as the reviewer is fair and doesn’t completely let their biases cloud their judgement or don’t sound condescending in their reviews, then I really won’t care if they’re comedic and serious.
