No, they aren’t. Games have age ratings for a reason. But parents these days are irresponsible and will let little 8 year old Jimmy play Doom with all the blood and violence.

Reboots and remakes aren’t inherently bad.

The problem with most remakes/reboots is that they’re often handled by people who don’t understand/care about the source material.
 
Get someone who does care and they can make great work, like DOOM 2016

Or look at the new She-Ra and DuckTales shows. Those are clearly made with a love of the source material, while also doing their own thing with them.

Im pretty sure every kid on earth has played an M-Rated game before they where old enough at least once.  
Like im pretty sure they where doing that back when the ESRB rating first happened too

For starters, its doing that ship tease crap again, where theyre trying to be coy with Catra and Adora. I’ve had enough of it with Star Vs, thank you very much.
 
Second, it just seems to be progressive for no reason other than because brownie points.
 
Third, its just boring to me. It feels like Steven Universe all over again. And after Seasons 4 and 5, I’ve had enough of that type of show.

My parents raised me well then. I couldnt play M-rated games until I was mature enough, which was when i was 13.

Uh, Catra’s whole thing is that she’s becoming more and more toxic. By the end of season 3, loads of her ships are becoming completely untenable because she’s losing her mind.
