Those aren’t meme songs, they got popular by their own accord. If you want to talk about meme songs, then we have Gangnam Style, Harlem Shake, The Fox, Let It Go, Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae), Shooting Stars, Black Beatles, Plug Walk, Baby Shark, Despacito, Old Town Road, those are all songs that got popular because of meme status. Those two that you mentioned got popular because of what was popular at the time and because the mainstream liked it.

After the fact it did, it got popular on its own because the kids at the time found it catchy, it was while it was big that it started getting the meme status, but I don’t consider it a meme song. Same thing with Somebody That I Used To Know and how I don’t consider it a meme song despite the music video being parodied so much.
 
Believe me, I was 14 when Call Me Maybe was the biggest song in the US, I know it was because it had appeal.

Batman dark Knight> avengers endgame. Seriously I watched yesterday the dark Knight and that movie is incredible.

Agreed. It’s the reason why I haven’t bothered watching most of the Marvel movies, especially the recent ones. I’d literally have to take several days of just watching a bunch of superhero movies just to understand what’s going on in the latest one(s). Ain’t nobody got time for that!
 
(As a side note, it’s also why I haven’t really bothered reading some of the really long fanfics out there, especially if I wasn’t reading them when they began.)
