Maybe if you’re able to revert the world’s weapons technology back to WWI. (trench warfare in a city street; is that even possible?)

Meanwhile, in bizzaro world, a cop was fired for not shooting a man
 
 
A cop, and former marine, in West Virginia, was fired when he refused to shoot a man with an unloaded gun.
 
From what I’ve read, they got a call about a suicide threat and he was the first on the scene. He immediately recognized that the guy was trying to suicide by cop, and instead of shooting him he tried to deescalate the situation.
 
Before he could however two other officers arrived, and one shot the man dead. An investigation concluded that the gun was unloaded, though the shooting was justified. Now the department has moved to fire the cop that refused to shoot.
 
They’re going to fire a man who recognized he was dealing with the mentally ill, who displayed trigger discipline, and tried to deescalate the situation at selfless risk.

It was never a safe world for cops, but now it’s pretty much a thankless, nonsensical job.

Here’s another thing that pisses me off: people who think libertarianism and anarcho-capitalism are philosophies that cater to the rich. THAT’S NO WHAT THEY’RE ABOUT!!! They both are all about the Non-Aggression Prinicple!

Then how come libertarians endorse policies that disproportionately benefit the wealthy?

Lately I’ve been getting hit really hard with bouts of depression that happen randomly but mostly during the daytime, including during work…
 
I’ve been told that it’s because of work and that I don’t feel it anymore after my shift when I come home because it’s when I have a chance to relax, but I’m feeling it right now an hour before work while I’m still relaxing…
 
Whenever it happens, I just can’t help but feel negative things about my life situation and how unhappy I am with it. But once it becomes night or evening, it just…goes away and I feel better. I feel this actually works to my disadvantage because I feel it would make it easier to express what’s bothering me to my girlfriend; I think it would help give her an idea of the gravity of my sadness. If that makes any sense…

I’m well aware. If it weren’t for the fact anarcho-capitalists and free marketeers appropriated the libertarian label for themselves, I’d probably identify as a left libertarian.

I think I knew why I was freaking out about a week ago about that TJ pones comic.
 
It wasn’t that it was scootabuse, it was the fact that an Artist I liked turned out to like scootabuse and didn’t even bother putting the scootabuse tag on that first panel of the comic until later.
 
And that fear extends to all artists.
 
Now, even though I have a filter system that is supposed to lock out all scootabuse and any tag that has untagged scootabuse hiding inside of it (Ie: Scootachicken) I’m afraid that out of nowhere with no warning on the home page there will be scootabuse.

Really?, You can’t stand to see scootabuse, Honestly for me I can Stand Twiabuse Pics (heck i like some of it). and yes Twilight Sparkle is my most favorite pony.
