Sigh, I was in the city centre yesterday and I gave a bum on the street 50$. He was more upset I didn’t give him 100 than thankful for the 50.
 
I was wearing a suit for my job interview, so I guess he thought I was rich. He was giving me spiel about how he got thrown out of his house and that he needed shoes.

It sounds like he might have dropped his back story after he got the money.

You should just ignore beggars. If you give them money, chances are they’re only going to spend it on drugs or alcohol.

Only people I give to are from my mom, siblings, and few close friends.
 
I don’t ask for things, I don’t give them. I don’t have a light, and if I have any money it’s mine.

This year seems to be dragging on..but I also can’t believe it’s nearly October. 🤔

Is there a reason e-cigs are being banned instead of actual cigarettes.. I am baffled.

Also, some say that banning cigarettes would push people to worse alternatives but they never really explained what the worse alternative to cigarettes is. Like, for alcohol there’s always hard liquor but nothing tops cigarettes.

Had no idea my finger was fried.

So the battery on my mother’s car didn’t start without trouble tonight.
 
I suspect she will wait quite a while for someone else to fix it for her.
 
Assuming she tries right way and doesn’t let it die first.
