It’s a whole big thing.
Okay, so apparently my dad has agreed prior to help me with a down payment so i can get a car. And he has a history of going around me and asking my brother questions about me rather than asking me himself. And my brother does not know my business that well.
Two months ago, i left him a text saying i was going to start car shopping start of next year and that i needed a bit more money, at the behest of my mother, who said he should be fine with that. Just last night, my brother tells my mother dad contacted him to grill him about it. Asking if it was legit, if i was paying rent, and sharing that he thought this was a ploy by my mother(who has been divorced from him for several years) to get money from him.
He thought i was asking him for money to advance in my living situation, so that i could give all the money to my mother. And given my mother’s job situation, that would certainly help, but that was not her plan.
And he asked my brother about it. Not me, but my brother. Under some impression i would just lie, or because he just doesn’t want to fuckedn talk to me. Because we don’t talk, like ever. But he seems to be in constant communication with my much less stable brother.
So I’m a bit hurt by all this. And the last time we talked in person, he made a big show of all the things he supposedly had at my age. A job, a family, a car and shit. Like I’m some kind of pathetic deadbeat.
