I did originally try to match that colour, but found that I didn’t have the right shades to do it, and with the body so dark it hid all the lines.
If you can match it up then great. I tried my best.

Just a note for future reference for you. If you take the number of the image, add two arrows >>, then stick the letter ‘p’ or ‘t’ after it, you get clickable images.
Also I just learned that if you use an app on any other platform like Android or Apple, you are going to be fucked over 6 ways from Sunday if it’s on an Amazon device. Either of isn’t as good, is rarely or never updated, or if they really feel like it- just delete it all together front Amazon’s appstore.

Thanks this is great, though lets hold off on adding the 2018 Community Collab tag. While it is very nice, I’m not sure how well it may work as part of Community Collab so I was going to wait to see how it compares.
@EquestrianScholar
I’m sure it will. There’s a lot more traditional pieces this year, plus they said any 2d art style is fine. There’ gonna be a lot of different styles, so no need to worry.
I really do want to participate again this year but I’m not sure I’ll be able to. I am facing a severe lack of motivation but the deadline is still a ways away so maybe.
l’ll be more than happy to draw OCs for those who don’t feel confident on the drawing skillz with them ponies n n. No charge, until the day before the deadline n_n
@Toyminator900
Well I would make absolutely sure they’re okay with it since it’s going to be a non-revocable piece and if they’re not okay with it they’ll just have to deal with it. :U
Also, 1200 PPI?! Dang, man, I thought doing it at 300 was enough for basically anything, my pieces still end up big enough that it’s extremely time consuming to clean and color them. Maybe I’ll try it at 450 next time.
So, I received an image from an artist for this, but the image is 1600px tall (though the pony is only 1400px tall when you cut out the borders). Can I still submit it, or should I resize the picture/ask the artist to resize first?
