I’ve considered what you said about my idea, (A pony snatching a fish out of the water would be a background Easter egg.) and I’m less concerned with being a part of the main group and more about just being part of the collab. Besides being a background Easter egg is it’s own distinction.

If so do I still need to fill out a flying spot application, or is this it’s own category?

if i already have a oc uploaded do i update their tags for the callob, or do i have to re upload them just for the callob?

This actually has a full background (the light grey box) and doesn’t meet the minimum size requirements.
If you want I could vector this for you. Smoothly scaled up to recommended size and a transparent background.

Gonna be winding up the art machine again for this. Just need the time. But a friend of mine who’s been in the previous collabs is again asking me to draw her character and is wondering what the likelihood of her horse flying would be? Is there any sort of qualification for airborne horses that I do not know because I did not read the FAQ (is too based for that)?

Your friend should fill out this form and there will be decisions made next week on which ocs are flying and which aren’t. Just have her submit it before December 3rd :)
