Wait rly? I never knew that happened last years but sounds chaotic.

I never have had any issues with there being no exact date or anything for these collabs, it isn’t a big deal at all as no one has paid to be in it or anything unlike a commission/private collaboration. Lucky that you have all the time to do it which is good to hear but please don’t over-do it and at least take breaks and take care of yourself. <3

I can’t stand impatient people like that, they’re often just toxic or do not understand how much time and effort something takes to make; They think its like rocket science when its not.

I’ve kinda notably observed some patterns on what goes around this event yearly.

When the collab is usually announced in November, it’s a steady but assurely rising number of participants hopping in to the event but when it is in the last remaining days and hours of the deadline, the statistics spike out tremendously. Then, a demand for an extension in the deadline due to lack of free time caused by busy life chores especially during the holidays.

People are lazy. They like waiting to the last minute or underestimate the amount of time making a drawing of their oc can take.

I feel like shit I’m sorry I let people waiting for me down. I forgot about this whole collab because of personal shit and I feel terrible about it.

PSA: If you missed this year’s deadline, that’s no problem. Just upload it anyway with the tag 2023 derpibooru collab and you’ll be ready for next year. :P
