One way to start is to start looking at all the available canon characters, and ask yourself if there is a character whose body shape you really like. Then think about characters from other fandoms that you like - anime characters, fantasy or sci-fi, historical figures. Then think how one of those people would look if they were a pony, and use the body shape of the canon character you like.

Like, Joan of Arc of she were like Big Mac. Or Anne Boleyn if she were like Fancy Pants.

Then find an artist who is doing requests and ask if they can draw that character for you.

Then you’ll be all set for next year if we do this again. Each year there’s dozens of artists who volunteer to create free drawings of people’s OCs for the event, so it’s easy to find someone to draw your OC. And having an idea of what your OC should look like will help you describe your OC to the artist.

That’s just one way. You can also find an online OC generator and just keep hitting refresh until you get something that looks interesting.

I’d love to help you design one! One of my favorite things to do is make new OCs ❤️

Probably not, we still find badges from collabs in the past where an OC was missed, or an artist joins the site who participated but didn’t have a profile. There will almost certainly be more.

It’ll be 2027 and badges will still be being granted for the 2021 collab.

In 2027 at least a hundred users will go to the 2027 Collab thread to ask if the 2028 badges have been awarded yet.

If you drew an OC for someone else, please let me know what the OC or image was, and who the other person is, and I’ll make sure you both get the right badges :)

We try to do this as much as possible without having to be asked, but sometimes it’s really hard to match OCs to profiles, or identify when an artist is drawing two OCs for themselves, or one for themselves and one for someone else.

So, please let me know which image it was and who the other person was, and I’ll get you both your badges :)

i had drew one for @/Ponies And Cuddles for them to have one in the callob for the first time they had did alittle bit of tweeking on the hair and wings for me cuase i didnt get to finish it all the way before the deadline
