Lots of dedication, passion and research are the usual requirements. Tutorials would help a bit, too
As it seems your art is digital, using a graphic tablet is almost inavoidable for getting good results, unless you’re aiming for the show’s style, which is made using vector graphics ; you can create decent-looking vector pictures with only a mouse (and appropriate software), it’ll still be long and difficult though

The best way I figured out is by doing external research into horse anatomy in cartoons.
But the major thing that does it is practicing & drawing it for real; best way is by experimenting by doing other OCs instead of just the same ones you’d usually draw, it also helps with portfolio building so your content doesn’t look all the same or stale/repetitive.
Another tool tip that also helps out a lot is by using shapes and guide lines to get a perfect body shape for any pose!

What happens if you make art in first mode? Or no? You can’t make art in guest mode?

Don’t compare you art to people, that’s an obvious one, and to see references and check out the ponies anatomy and their poses, it’s not bad to use poses bases at first on starting art specially digital, we’ll gonna use other images for references at some point :)
