Something different there. Don’t think I’ve seen any other show characters as Sirens before.
 
Which in itself seems odd considering how popular the Dazzlings were.  
(Although their siren forms in Rainbow Rocks was anything but appealing to be honest).
 
Still, there’s fan artists that manage to make even those look cute.

Found another artist here. Left a link on her most recent upload >>1115500 to see if she’d join in, although it seems she’s not a daily visitor here, so we may have a bit of a wait for a response.

Don’t know if you’ve followed that crossover comic I’m slowly working through, but Minuette makes an appearance in that. Looong way in though.  
When the ponies return to the portal they used to get to that planet, Minuette’s guarding it alongside a couple of Celestia’s guards.
 
Just thought I’d inform you.  
Had the idea of Lyra and Minuette being sent by Celestia to keep an eye on Twilight when she was sent to Ponyville.  
That even fit with canon, until the ‘Slice Of Life’ episode. Both unicorns are seen in Canterlot at the start of episode 1, (Twilight runs past them), and they’re in Ponyville for most of the series.

Admittedly I haven’t read it, but I’ll give it a look when Minnie appears =) (I can’t seem to find it on here when searching your name, so I assume it’s not been uploaded yet?)
 
I like that idea! I think it’s said in the show that Twilight always felt nervous about meeting the other unicorns in Canterlot again after she runs off, and so tries to distance herself out of social fear.

Currently only 10 pages, although page 11 is my current drawing project.
 
The full story, (final chapter hasn’t been written yet), is here ,but still has the original (frankly rubbish) title.
 
This is the part where she turns up. It’s at the end of chapter 8, and my comic has just broken in to chapter 3.
 
”Princess Twilight!” came an unexpected voice from the other side of the tank.
 
“Isn’t that….” started Lyra, trotting over to the tank for a clearer look.
 
Just beside where the portal was, there stood two royal guards in their usual golden armour.  
Between them, looking a little out of place, was a pale blue unicorn with a dark blue and white mane.
 
“Minuette?!” called Lyra, “what in the world are you doing here?!”
 
“Princess Celestia called for me to join you, but some pony (she gritted her teeth and glared at Twilight) had the train leave early!!”
 
Twilight looked away sheepishly.
 
“So she asked me to guard the way home instead,” finished the new arrival.
 
“Well, we were successful”, stated Twilight ,“we got the staff, and a few new friends too”.

I wouldn’t call myself an artist at this point but I can share:

I have some drawing in mind but I simply lack the skills to do any of them, so basic practice for me, for now.  
I want to build up my base first, also I still have my moral dilemma about some of my less safe ideas. I take my pony seriously.

I will try digital art tomorrow. I have a tablet and sai.  
And maybe I will try drawing something other than already made drawings. Like something out of my head.

I personally can’t help you there, as I don’t know how to do digital art. However, there’s others here who do that sort of art, (Mrmildock and Badumsquish to name but 2). They might be able to offer advice.
