Have you ever been disappointed by an artist?

Like the topic name is asking.  
A few days ago I looked at Phathusa’s Patreon and noticed the $15 and over per month tier (which is not something most people can afford, not with other Patreon donations going on) unlocks access to pieces that would otherwise not get posted. My question which I sent to her Tumblr asking whether this is private commissions only or more never got answered.
 
Have you ever encountered anything similarly disappointing? Let’s swap stories and discuss why such things are bad(or say why you think they aren’t).

PinkiePony. I really liked her style, but after DWM drama she lost all the respect.

Seconded. I think she’s a pretty good artist, but it’s a shame she’s kinda crazy with regards to everything else.

I disappoint myself all the time, so I guess so.

But I cant get over the fact that he’s a very very rude, egotistical, and all around unpleasant person.

Heh, I take it you were absent that time when he dropped a comment bemoaning Derpibooru’s tendency to downvote trans images. Of course he just glossed over how the image-in-question’s description basically called most users trans-phobes and was otherwise egging people on. (He may not have even read the original description.) The resulting flurry of comments poking holes in his theory, and the tens of upvotes that came once the description was altered to be less bait-y were never acknowledged, as he just abandoned the thread.

It’s funny because he’s drawn/posted explicit foalcon. Somehow I doubt the fine folks who led DWM would’ve had kind words for such things…

Really? I didn’t think his actions were really that bad… I mean none of us are perfect; we’re all entitled to a few mistakes.

Obligatory myself response but Seriously look at the only image under artist:jakc1423 how did I think that crap was complete  
on another note 0r0ch1 said some Bigoted stuff on one of his streams so I burned that bridge I always got a bad taste in my mouth with him anyways and I only favorited a few of his drawings so it didn’t hurt that much

All artists (and fans) disappoint me. What a bunch of self-entitled tools.

Really, this doesn’t help anyone. It doesn’t raise any worthwhile discussion, nor does it create anything but hostility. You’re free to hate anyone, but there’s no need for this kind of message where all posts will inevitably end up as, “I hate these people, and here’s why you should hate them too.”

I never liked orochi even before he did pony art. Just goes to show you can be a horrible person but the masses will love you if you draw porn.
 
I suppose it’s no coincidence he’s buddy buddy with bluntwhisky/kayla na, whom I have a personal trifle with (of whom isnt a pleasant person either)
