know any free sound editing saftware

so here is my issue and I have a sissy shining armor idea and have the prefect audio for it the issue the audio starts at 0:51 and ends at 1:20 so I am looking for sounds editing software the i can use to cut that piece out.

Audacity should do the job just fine.

ditto on audacity, it does most everything you would need an audio editing software to do
