That is…a little awkward, considering I commissioned someone to make her, but I’ll see if I can ask them to change it another pony (Symphony) and see how it goes.

I wonder how fast Rainbow Dash’s parents will get made… I also wonder how many people make models of canon characters and not just OCs…

I’d say RD’s and AJ’s mothers would get a model pretty fast, depending on their appearances and personalities.

I’d say the amount of modelers making actually canon characters is declining.

You aren’t being rude, but yeah, I have noticed that there are less and less people making show characters as of late.

AFAIK there’s like two people making canon characters. Three if you count RenderingBytes and his “upcoming” foal pack, but it’s been so long and his backlog’s so huge it’s safe to assume we’re not getting it this decade.

It appears I don’t have models of Daring Do or Cherry Berry (not sure if the latter even exists), and my only Maud is the Crystal War Maud…

Been working on some new stuff, but I won’t be telling until I’m done due to spoilers.

Couldn’t find Cherry Berry’s model, even though I know there is one for sfm/gmod.

Any pictures using her model? It looks like the creator took her down. FusionGuyBrony, perchance?
 
EDIT: Also, with FillerArtist going on hiatus, I fear the SFM-Resource folder will be nothing but Equestria Girls until Christmas

Looks like Nutrafin’s removed all their downloads except a BG pony pack that doesn’t even work because all the models point to error.mdl instead of the actual model files, assuming they even had any to begin with…

Though it turns out Cherry Berry is in said model pack, so if you can get it to work, you’ve got her covered.

Just to note: I’m finally making enhanced CMC bases, which means I’ll be open to requests on what models to revise when I’m done the base.

Chipcutter really could use a sfm model.
 
Same for the fillies and colt from A Royal Problem too.

Daybreaker definitely, but I don’t see the others at all, unless FillerArtist decides to follow up with the foals RenderingBytes was going to make but scrapped when he decided to only RP or something (Plus FA is one of like two modelers to care about canon characters that aren’t alternate Mane 6, Background 6 or Princess costumes/forms). I’m so certain Daybreaker and other super-major characters or alternate forms that it’s an entry on a new bingo I’m making

Plus, Filler did mention he was focusing more on his health under his Windy Whistles render.

That too, I’m fully aware he’s trying to focus on his health more (I should be, too) which is why I’m worried about the canon/OC ratio when there are so many major and/or recurring canon characters who lack models. Since March 13, there’s been 42 OCs (granted a few ponified and an Applejack costume, but still) and only one canon character (and it’s a G1 character, though to be fair that makes two G1 characters with models)

That’s why I hope there’s tutorials for pony modeling somewhere so that people can learn how to make it themselves without pressuring the same handful of modelers to make it for them.

Yeah, I hope that happens as well, if we do get some clear sfm pony modeling tutorials, it could help things out…or not, we’ll have to wait and see.
