So, I have been inspired by the [Anorexic Sunny](/tags/series-colon-anorexic+sunny) series.

Got several ideas running through my head, but since they aren't directly related to the art itself... I thought it best to make what is probably my first post ever on these forums. Please forgive any errors. For example, if this thread needs to be moved to a different forum that would not surprise me.

**Question for Project 1:**
Okay, let's say we have the classic "shoulder devil/Shoulder angel" pair for a RECOVERING anorexic. I am guessing the person would be at a healthy body-weight at the point I am interested in FWIW.

So, *I would think* some days the voice of that shoulder-devil is the most charismatic thing in the world, whispering a call to an entirely false sense of self-improvement and accomplishment.

That I can't necessarily do anything about... maybe, but maybe not.

But I said "some days"... I'm wondering if there are other days. Days where that shoulder-devil isn't silent, but also doesn't sound suave at all, but more like a bratty four-year-old endlessly nagging for you to buy them a toy? Because THAT I have a *wonderful* idea about how to drop some schadenfreude on that entirely deserving little twit.

(Don't ask what the project is. I have some past learning experiences that means I can't say until I get some more information.)

**Project 2:**
As I mentioned at one point in the comments for the Anorexic Sunny series, I went looking for an image that could serve as a distant finale to the series. Something with the Mane 5 throwing down against Opaline. Couldn't find anything that really fit the bill here.
"Bronies I am disappoint."

I have little skill in the 2D graphic arts department, but I have some money I could devote to a good cause, and know an artist who could use the money (if nobody gets inspired here). But I figure it could be even better to get some advice on lay-out and such.
Should Sunny be:
A.) "On model" from the 3-D animation (although perhaps in the style of the 2D) animation.
B.) Only back to the 2D's body-weight (which is part of what inspired the anonymous artist in the first place since it is kinda skinny).
C.) On the high end of the healthy weight range or even slightly overweight from overshooting her goal. (Probably not)
D.) Look like the Pony version of these strongwoman athletes, with perhaps some more bodyfat?

Since I think we are going to be reinterpriting the characters and doing the scene in a more realistic style (NOT the charcoal sketch textures and strokes of Anorexic Sunny), then quick notes on initial ideas for the rest of them would be:
**Izzy**: No real change to body. Maybe wielding a Unicycled weapon of some sort. A crossbow or club is one option, but to quote my best memory of a demotivator made from a scene in *Girl Genius*: "Madness was making a crank-powered gun that fires silverware. Genius was making it sound like 'Spork! Spork! Spork!'."
**Hitch**: Canonically has "Shredded Abs". Don't make him taller, but mucho muscles are in order.
**Zipp**: Rainbow Dash 2.0, whipcord muscle, the Ponification of a melee skirmishers light warhorse.
**Pipp**: ... this is a problem. I can totally come up with a good reason why she would have a black-belt(a)... but I can't see a way to fit that concept into a single image. Maybe have her in the background cowing Misty into submission or just decking her in the snoot? Or have her already KOed? Duel wielding cameras to flash-blind Opaline?
(a) She is a high value kidnapping target who her mother never-the-less allowed to go without guard escort in a town that still has Sprout walking around free in it.

Opaline should of course, have the sort of presence that makes 5 on 1 (or 4 on 1 if Pipp not fighting her) seem like it MIGHT be enough. Thanos with a nearly fully loaded Infinity Gauntlet but without his army. Apocalypse to the X-men. Sephiroth's form that destroys most of the solar system every time he uses his strongest attack.

As for layout, the best idea I have is that Sunny would be bucking Opaline in the temple. Opaline would NOT look like this is stunning her much (Not quite "All that for a drop of blood.", but in that general ballpark), however it would be causing Opaline's hornblast to BARELY miss one of the others. Sunny would have a third degree scorch-mark across the back of her thigh that at its deepest cuts goes about halfway through her fat layer. The implication (which might have to be explained in the description, because it is subtle) is that if she hadn't have had that healthy layer of fat she would have lost some of the muscle powering the buck, and that even a slight loss of power would have meant Opaline's horn-lazor would have hit its target. Of course that muscle is ALSO a result of her full recovery (and maybe some time at in a weight room after inspiration from Hitch).

...or would the image actually work better with the graphicness dialed back? I mean... given the imagery in "Anorexic Sunny" I don't think that keeping it to "Tirek vs Twilight" sorts of bloodless mayhem would be appropriate, but I'm certainly open to the possibility that
