what do you think about my OC's design?

i’m not sure if this is the right forum to give that question, but in the case that i pic the wrong forum, i’m very sorry, i’ll delete it.  
well, i want to know, what do you think about this OC.  
his name is Rito.  
he’s a pegasus, red eyes, black hair, with a spiked collar (the one you see in this profile pic, but i have other samples in this page and DeviantART).
 
you can be 100% honest, i’ll promise that i’m not going to “rage” or something like that.  
all i want is the truth.  
and i’m so sorry if i bother you with this annoying question.

Dunno about the red eyes, it sure makes the OC standing out, but it’s usually used for some very specific contexts implying for example medical conditions such as albinism, porphyric hemophilia…
 
In short, it may involuntary give the creeps, except if that’s what you actually wanted.
 
Designing an OC is only a part of the process, the most important thing is to give it a context, a story, an existence, using artworks or writings, whatever is most suitable for you

is not my intention to give him a “creepy look” When he looks normal or when he’s happy.
 
he has a context, but, i can’t tell it yet.  
i don’t even have a reference image of him yet.  
i have other pictures of him.  

 

 
the reason why i can’t tell the context is because i don’t think is ready to tell it yet.  
i want to tell it, but, i can’t, is not going to be good if the context keeps it as a “concept context”.

I think the red eyes are fine, they look cool. And there are some ponies with red eyes.

Rito was always planned to have red eyes.  
however, in a early design, Rito had the eyes like a normal pony.  
now in days the eye changed, and it has to do with his context.
