Some “fidget toys”, ranging from some string to those little boxes with buttons and switches to certain stressballs, help people with ADHD, on the spectrum, or other issues from becoming restless by having something to fidget with. Not sure if the fidget spinner is specifically one of those or it just got lumped in with the rest.

If there were no rule against sockpuppetting, how would an interaction between SmilingPony and FrowningPony go?

It’s definitely better than having half of the people in the meeting obsessively clicking their pens over and over and over.
 
I’m [shockingly] not on the spectrum, but I find one of these does the trick and makes a lot less noise.
 

 
Also you can play like it in your pocket if you’re in an elevator or standing in a crowd.

I have a fidget cube too, highly recommend to anyone that’s getting tired of clicking the springs out of pens or damaging the cover on remote controls.

Fidgeting and having too much energy can be the result of many processes, including mania and … well … drugs. Boredom. Frustration and anxiety. Fidgeting can also INDUCE anxiety in people which can be fun to watch. Or not fun.

Do you see the original account right away or do you actually need to take extra steps to see it or…?
