Some monster data I’m gonna dump here:
Cackling Demon:
The cackling demon is a skeletal jester trapped in a small ceramic pot. Upon pulling the pin and throwing the pot, the cackling demon bursts forth, a noxious pink and fuschia cloud engulfing it and it’s target. The cackling demon is always a good sport, and will happily tell a joke to anyone who asks.
Alignment: Neutral AC: 14 (Natural Armor) HP: 5 Speed: 30ft
Strength: 8
Dexterity: 22
Constitution: 10
Intelligence: 8
Wisdom: 14
Charisma: 13
Abilities:
Laughter Grenades: A player or monster may throw the Cackling Demon’s vessel up to their strength
score divided by two, the result is how many squares (5ft for reference) they may throw it. The target of the cackling demon is the closest living creature, if there is a tie, it target’s both.
Killing Joke: The gas emitted by the demon makes the target laugh. The target(s) make a DC 17 constitution save, failure makes them fall prone and they cannot do anything. This affect lasts 3+1d4 rounds. After the first round of the affect, the target(s) make a DC 17 constitution save, if they fail, they immediately suffer D6 damage, at a minimum of three, because they can no longer breath.
Corporeal vessel: The cackling demon dissipates after the
Killing Joke affect passes. The effect also dissipates if the cackling demon is slain before the affect ends.
