Plus Twitter users should stop saying “We’re doomed!” Because negativity and panicking makes things worse, What they should do instead is to be confident and brave and trust in the Mep’s That are against this

With 111 comments and IT WILL GROW because a famous celebrity tweeted this, The opposition towards Articles 13 and 11 (But particularly Article 13) will intensify over the next few days, and with a 50/50 chance of winning, let’s hope things end positively.

The reason we lost the JURI vote is because the hype wasn’t as big at that point, The reason we won the July vote is because of big names like PewDiePie, Computing Forever, and Phillip DeFranco spreading awareness
@DarkObsidian
I’m incredibly stressed with life in general, Im trying to tell myself everything just might end okay, plus the nostalgia I feel for the 2012-2016 era of pop culture
@DarkObsidian
I wonder if there are ANY positive amendments/compromises? Because the bad Voss and Jean Marie ones AREN’T the only amendments there’s gonna be 500+ of them and there’s probably some good or AT LEAST decent ones that won’t be a potential pain in the ass.
Article 13: Remove liability for platforms and replace it with Fair Use and Safeguards, but sites that intentionally infringe copyright like The Pirate Bay have to go.
I am convinced that every day, both positive and negative compromises are made at political level. However, I am not a friend of current democracy. I would like to see a digital democracy in which, with appropriately protected accounts, it would be possible to vote online, in which referendums count throughout Europe and in which we, as a network community, show the stinking finger to lobbying, but it will take time to implement this idea. Nevertheless, I very much believe that this is the future of democracy. Especially because you can see how much a dictatorship (excused, one-party system) benefits digitally in China. We must use the network to our advantage and must never allow it to be turned against us.
@DarkObsidian
But chances of this passing considering it failed in July?
I’m oddly feeling empowered and positive about the hopeful positive outcome, I think it’s because of Reda’s commitment to stopping this.
And Google was falsely accused of fraud by Article 13’s supporters even BEFORE the July vote
@DarkObsidian
And contact or email as much MEP’s as possible in a calm and productive manner with deep explanation about the flaws and mention how fair use has helped some people’s careers, I think that’s the best bet.
