Happy venting thread

It’s that time of the year again. Looks like it’s time to tweak my artistic mindset once again right now.

Also happy 12th anniversary to the show that got me in this freight train in the first place.

Been getting some good sleep the past few nights. Hope it continues.

Apparently yesterday was Thanksgiving in Canada, so Pixar put this on their Twitter (and now I wish my family was dining with the Lee family).

This morning I realized in a quiet moment, how dexterous I’d become in using a pair of scissors to trim my facial hair in the mirror.

It’s fun to cruise through the country on a warm autumn day with no concern other than what lies over the next hill.

Wow. I just discovered the use of negative search terms.

I was reading about toxicology and the history of poison. I wanted to learn more about poison being applied to weapons. However if you google ‘weapon poison’, all you get is Runescape stuff. So I tried putting in ’Weapon poison -runescape” and it got rid of all the runescape results.

Now I can spend less time filtering through crap.

Yep, and this is huge. I use google all day. I use Google Scholar too.

People associate looking stuff up with stupidity, but this mindset comes from people who believe the first thing they read on a matter, and have to immediately form opinions on it. Unintelligent people will think that everyone else has their same bad research habits, because they never Googled theory of mind.

Went on a 3 and 1/2 hour ride Tuesday.
