Deerie, though? She’s also a dick but the subtle vague kind. Deerie will never be direct. Deerie will always hum to give that sense of hope, only to shut it down faster than a train wreck.
Deerie is definitely more hateable than Katie.

It’s like Voldemort vs. Professor Umbridge, to use a Harry Potter example. Voldemort is a genocidal maniac (one memorable comment described him as “literally Wizard Hitler”), but 90% of people who’ve read the books hate Umbridge more.
