As much as I love Friendship is Magic, the fact is that friendship does not carry any legitimate merit or practicality in the real world. As someone with Autism, I’ve learned that surrounding myself with people who are useful to me is far more valuable. Of course you should have social relations. But you assume everyone will betray you from the offset, and you will never be disappointed.
