I did some great barefooting today. After work, I got off the bus to a McDonald’s and I took off my sandals and put them in my backpack and walked in. Luckily there was nobody in the restaurant and all the employees were in the kitchen and behind the counter. I also strategically stood where they wouldn’t be able to see my feet while I made my order. The floor felt really nice and cool as I got out and walked a good distance to a dollar store to get something to drink. This time, the place did have people but nobody said anything as I got my drink from the cooler and stood in line. Best part is that I believe the manager walked beside me and didn’t even say a word about my bare feet. The floor also felt nice and cool as I paid for it and got out. Finally, I walked a very long distance from that store to my house feeling the sidewalk, grass and dirt under my soles. When I got home, my soles surprisingly weren’t that dirty from it all, though it helped that I walked along dew-covered grass. All in all, probably the best barefooting outing that I’ve ever done.
