Let’s discuss the pastime of having and raising offspring. I’ll start off with asking, are are you a parent?

No replies?. figured. how was your childhoood? how did you not get yourself killed?

My childhood, eh, pretty average I suppose.  
It’s easy not to die as a calm kid and with some chill friends.

Hard to describe. i apparently fell down the stairs when i was one year old and survived.
 
And, i have no plans of ever having any offspring.

I stepped on a pool cover and slipped under when I was two; only one person noticed and saved me.
 
If you’re wondering, my parents were asleep and had entrusted my care to family members.

They had always been very protective of me so I don’t think I can reasonably answer that; I don’t think anyone with a good relationship with their family expects them to be that negligent.

If you could only give one piece of advice to a kid what would it be?

Do you have any rules when it comes to naming children?
 
I have three  

I don’t have kids. Nor do I want any. There’s helpful advice. Don’t have kids unless you’re ready. They are a huge responsibility and while yes they bring a couple together and are the basic way of achieving a human’s biological purpose, be prepared for it. Some things to take note of:
 
-They will drain you financially if you don’t have the money.  
-Spend a lot of time with them. A LOT.
 
I don’t know much else about them clearly it’s just that I see too many parents clearly not fit for having children. I’m sure we all have seen an example of this. An example can be when parents are on their phones while their children are screaming and crying next to them.

Or, as i see frequently in the ghetto, girls who have kids strictly to get welfare and/or alimony, and once the kid is born, they just throw it at their mothers.

I despise all parents, mainly for their ability to victimize on whim, and unreasonable rules too. I do not want to fornicate for reproduction, but I am willing to take in another child possibly forsaken and tend to them. I will not cramp their style.
