In 1989, actor/comedian/“musician” Corey Feldman made an appearance on a stand up comedy show called “The Improv”, which he used to debut his new single, “Dream A Little Dream”. The performance became notable for the number of issues for it, such as Corey blatantly lip synching, his weird Michael Jackson inspired dance moves, and just the overall awkwardness of the whole thing.
However just recently, clips of the performance became popular again, due to a surge of people noticing something incredibly off about the live feed of the video from it’s original airing.
At point point during the performance, the camera feeds ends up cutting away from Corey and the crowd to show a short black and white video of a woman stripped down to her underwear, blindfolded and tied down to a pool table, struggling in her binds before the camera returns to the performance like nothing happened.
People where confused about this random clip appearing, as it never appeared before or after this performance, along with having nothing to do with the song in question. Some thinking it’s a scene from a movie or a porno, while other more darker theories think that this was footage from a snuff film.
Eventually, it turns out that this clip was actually a scene from the 1965 sexploitation film “Satan’s Bed”, noticeable for featuring a young Yoko Ono in it before she became well known in the music industry.
While people now know the origins of where this clip came form, the reason WHY the broadcast decided to show that clip during the show is still a mystery.
