The little things thread

What are the insignificant things in your life that you just love?
 
For me it’s cheap prepackaged ramen. The kind that come in blocks that look like they should be used to scrub dishes or in styrofoam cups that probably cost more than the actual food they contain.  
And always get the spicy kind. Spicy kind is the best kind.

People who say thank you when I open doors for them.  
Chocolate milk.  
And my Xbox needing a little tap for it’s disk tray to open. Gives it character.

Sunday roast. Makes being a brit almost worth it.

Being alive for another day.

When people you don’t know smile back at you when you smile at them.
 
A firm handshake.
 
The meat juices from a medium rare steak.
 
My mother’s cooking.
 
The sound of rain on the rooftop whilst in a warm bed.
 
Being woken by the rays of the sun.

A summer storm in the distance or coming overhead. Just something about the power of nature coupled with the stillness of the air. Goosebumps man…

Every summer since I was a little kid, mourning doves have built a nest right outside my room. Their coos are always really nice to wake up to.

i know it now guise. shooting. seriously; the idea that we can successfully harness the power of a small explosion, whilst still putting your face right nest too it. and at the same tame be able to hurl such a small object, as a projectile, a great distance and still hit a very small target. Technology, it rocks.

I love the feel of grain, the screams if a man in pain!

Also, I’ve always loved rain more than is reasonable.

The pillow the size of my torso, so I can hug something while I sleep…my god that sounds sad…

On topic now: thinking of when I was a little kid, and was at Grandma’s. Whether I was playing with toys or tic tac toe, or was throwing rocks in the creek behind the house.
 
On a modern day basis:
 
A calm and rainy night.
 
Ripe Apricots.
 
The ability to dehydrate fruit, with my dehydrator.

I love nature man. I just enjoy closing my eyes and listening to the world.
