A good amount of people believe that Cartoon Network just doesn’t want to air any form of anime at all nowadays, no matter what it’s about. And to be fair, there’s a lot of evidence pointing to that.
We went from 2007, where anime had a decent presence on the network and targeted a variety of audiences, to 2020, where the only way that they’d air the Bakugan reboot was if it they had control over how it was produced (aka making it an 11-minute action-comedy not unlike Teen Titans Go), because apparently “kids don’t have the attention span to watch a 30 minute action cartoon.” And even then, the show still got moved to Netflix after 2 seasons, so now they don’t air ANY form of anime whatsoever.
