Survivable: War of the Worlds.
Everyone wants to live in a zombo apoco every once in a while. And this setting still has the internet so yeah the biggest downside to one doesn’t exist here.
As for survivability, well, War of the World ayys die to Earth bacteria. As long as you aren’t one of the, what, billion that die and make it a whole week then the invasion is over. Life returns to normal and you have a funny story to tell your grandkids. WWZ however, well, look. We live in a post Covid world (well, not yet we do…). Zombo apocos already run on the logic that most of the population would die anyway, but this is all before we learn we live in the stupid timeline where large, large portions of the population would run screaming at the hordes while saying “It’s a hoax!” Worse in this setting not only do the zombos also run and make human ladders to scale buildings, there actually is a way can make you invisible to the zombos…by taking a vaccine.
Humanity is giga-fucked if WWZ happens.
