Just finished watching The Angry Birds Movie 2 which was released in my country today. Good movie, not as half-bad as I thought.

I don’t know, Sony getting 95% of the box office profits in the current deal also seems rather greedy on their part. On the other hand, 50/50 would be a bit much since Disney gets 100% of the merchandise sales.

I think there was one in the 1990s. This was well before Disney bought Marvel…and DC…well DC was kinda always with Warner Bros.

I’d say 35 for Disney, and 65 for Sony. I’d only do 50/50 if Disney splits merchandising 50/50 as well.

Both companies are being greedy d**ks in this aspect. While i agree Disney is right to ask for more money, since Marvel Studios produces the movie, 50/50 is ludicrous since they already have merchandising rights.

disney was the ones doing a lot of heavy lifting on the spider-man films so it’s not unfair to ask for more.
