Netflix She-Ra designs can look good the problem is nobody on the show can fucking draw.  
I’ve seen a lot of fanart (on tumblr no less) that make the designs actually look pleasing without changing them too much. But none of that can fix the show’s bad writing.

I agree. The writing for Catra’s arc in particular is actually amazing.

I really want to get into Absolute Carnage more than I have. But it’s getting kinda hard to when the formula so far has just been ‘Hero gets swarmed by a bunch of Carnage knockoff scrubs, shits their pants and runs when the real one shows up, Dark Carnage eats a guy’s spine, rinse and repeat’.
