To be fair in-universe morphs are shown to be instantaneous. That doesn’t make these memes less funny though.

Well technically they’re not talking about the morphs sequence.  
I can’t remember what season but I do we call a monster reacting to the ranger’s Rolecall. Of course the megazords take some time

It’s more the roll call sequence. By the time they get done with their Rockettes routines, the MOTW should’ve blasted them. I’ve been wanting just once for a bad guy to cheat and interrupt the roll call.

That’s another thing that would likely get them killed. At least in Beast Morphers, they have a force field (for one formation at least.) They also assemble the Ultrazord while still at the base before the battle whenever possible.
 
And Power Rangers in Space did the megazord transformation in orbit and only touched down once it was complete.

I recall one time when the Power Rangers beat the monster of the week on foot it didn’t turn giant. The villain had to release a different, already giant monster for us to have the megazord fight.

I think that’s a ninja steel. But beast Morphersthe giant monster is always a different robot transformed into the original robot design and I think at one point they had an unaltered Gigadrone

To this day i still hate the people who question the not pulling out the Zords from the get go, when one of the first rules Zordon laid out was to never escalate a fight,

On a side Kelson Henderson is pretty much the John ratzenberger of power rangers. He’s been in pretty much every season since the Dino thunder

The current series, Beast Morphers, has non-growing monsters whose data is used to empower giant robots called Gigadrones that have some features of the monster but aren’t identical. So far, the only enemy to actually grow is main villain Evox himself (this after utterly thrashing the Ultrazord without growing. We’ll see how long he stays that OP.)
 
Before that, SPD would often have the monster (or an elite footsoldier) pilot a robot of its own, and these didn’t look anything like the original monster. Only a few monsters actually grew, each using a different method.

one of the reasons Star Wars surpasses Star Trek, the nature of the aesthetics and universes means that Star Wars is timeless while Trek has to undergo visual reboots every 20 years, while Star Wars has a timelessness to it,
