Yeah I caught that.

Hazbin really feels like a first draft with Helluva being the finished product. And sure enough the studios making them also treat them as such.

Who knows though. If Hazbin ever makes more than just a pilot then maybe the actual series will be good. But Helluva was still good with its pilot and only got better in the actual show.

Mental health is definitely important, but they still acted like they were a GTA protagonist. I don’t think just an apology is going to cover all of that.

It’s always cringe in post apocalyptic media where the Military manages to remain standing and it usually focuses on wiping out Bandit clans and camps instead of focusing on killing every last zombie or other monster still roaming about the world.

I see it like this:

I think it makes sense depending on what the bandits are in the story. Simple bandits then yeah, focus on the zombies. If they’re religous zealots with guns or violent warlords, focus on them.

If we’re talking deathclaws attacking everyone though, then focus on those. They’re giant hulking beasts.

I could easily ask why the bandits, which tend to be a much more close and immediate threat, aren’t thinking the same way.

In a post apocalypse, you wouldn’t focus on what can’t fuck anything up any more than they have, that was pre-apoc times.

Oh it’s most definitely an attempt to excuse their little rampage across the country, which uh, good luck Flash.

But I don’t think it was mental health that let them go crazy so much as the having money and fame to temporarily keep the law off them. Even people who were hoping Ezra got help for what might be mental illness still acknowledged they were acting batshit and dangerously and needed to be stopped.

…MAN WB/DC just keeps falling into holes don’t they? Ray Fisher, Amber Heard, Ezra Miller, Snyder’s cut being superior, Batgirl being canceled, bad business decisions.

HE’s accused Joss Whedon and Geoff Johns of racism and abuse/discrimination against him, as well as calling out the head of the DC Films Walter Hamada for enabling Joss and Geoff’s behaviour.

and when he went public with these statements, Walter ended up removing Ray’s role as Cyborg from the Flash movie.

Needless to say, not a lot of fans were happy hearing about what’s been happening to Ray.

And the first episode of She Hulk dropped today.

It was fine. Nothing spectacular. It did canonize “Smart Hulk” as Banner’s current persona right now and…fine. Smart Hulk already had little to do with the Professor alter besides “Hulk but smart”, so at least I can use this as an excuse to hope we will get Joe Fixit someday and then use that to springboard into an actual, proper Professor Hulk.

Best joke of the episode was definitely the fourth wall break. I was wondering if they would keep that trait with Jen and yeah, they did it but more subtly than Deadpool’s in-your-face-ness of it.
