He must think the lack of enthusiasm for Pratt’s performance means people won’t see it.

I haven’t seen a single take suggesting this. In fact most reactions I’ve seen suggest people will watch it in spite of Pratt, not because of him. Nothing like the Sonic movie debacle (judging by the like/dislike ratio on YouTube for the trailer, people are very intrigued).

Finally saw the trailer and I really like Bowser part. It’s like video game movies are collectively making previously goofy villains finally serious and intimidating, first Robotnik and now Bowser.

Has anoyone ever thought that Pratt was chosen for his role in Lego Movie not in Guardians of the Galaxy?

I mean, yeah. I imagine Miyamoto is a fan of that movie.

After all Mario and that guy from the Lego movie (I haven’t watched it yet) are both from what I can tell relatable working class heroes. I dont know if thaf is correct. I’m not the biggest fan of either one.

Because Pratt himself has the brainpower and demeanor of a small plastic person in real life.
By all rights he’s a fantastic actor, but the dude is dumb as a boy of rocks. So playing a small plastic toy doesn’t require him to change much.

Huntlow is canon. There’s no hope. Not to mention the Twins will NEVER get any bitches when the show is over. Dana hates them, let’s face it. Heck, she hated Huntmira (And same age ships in general) that she ignored the ship because of story reasons. Just like Meghan McCarthy hated Fluttermac.
If only I can say something about age gaps without getting sixed.

Oh my god, I legit got so pumped the seconds I realized Matt Murdock was gonna burst out of that door and I got even more pumped when he actually showed up. I am so happy they actually got Charlie Cox back!

That being said, in regards to the whole “Velma is a lesbian” thing, I hope people don’t whine about Shaggy not getting any bitches.
Because, if y’all have seen past movies and specials (like Alien Invaders or the Live-Action Movie), Shaggy fell for other girls and not just Velma. Yes it’s like an one-time thing, but he can get with others if he wants to.
So, unlike what will happen to the Twins from the Owl House in terms of romance, I don’t mind Shaggy moving on with anyone. Heck, at least he’s with Scooby-Doo. (In a friendly bro-ish way, don’t take this as zoophile bs)

Mario movie aka 30yo plumber gets isekaid into a land of mushrooms, dragons and princesses. Technically still a trip but not one that is not substance induced–or maybe it is idk.

Sweet F.A.
I do love how there was an era of Marvel that was just based on ripping off DC characters.
