Were you aiming for that from the beginning or just in it for the gems at Master 2?
I noticed it was just balance Akiza’s with Aromages and Nobleknights. As well as Thunder Dragons and lightsworn levaneer recently. Hope thise decks get hit again >.>
Imagine if Konami decided to do a reverse errata and made old cards better, like Ancient Gear’s effect working with any Ancient Gear monster rather than just another Ancient Gear.
Sadly with them making support of working around Ra’s dumbass “no special summon lol” instead of simply removing the restriction that was badly contradicting the anime, its less likely..
Wonder which cards(aside from Ra) would LOVE the reverse-errata if they DO it at all?
@nightshroud96
That’s the case with all three God Cards, and Ra’s effects in the anime were much more complex than that. Besides, they’re getting insane support, so I think their restrictions are fine as long as you aren’t demanding them to be very competitive.
@Meanlucario
I am fine with them putting Ra’s other “forms” as actual cards since it makes things look cooler(and more sense than what the anime had shown since fans complained Ra has a bajillion effects revealing because when plot demands it)
Though it sure sucks the gods barring Obelisk(not sure if Immortal Phoenix Mode has it?) lost their protection.
Slifer is just outright exposed there.
@nightshroud96
Other than they all having the protection that cards can’t activate in response of their summon, Obelisk only has a target immunity, which a simple Darkhole cleans up.
And Ra’s other forms are in the game. Sphere Mode even sees much more competitive play than normal Ra since it removes three monsters your opponent controls, making it a super kaiju.
@Meanlucario
I certainly wished Dark Anthelion Dragon didn’t had its “LP gain and protection” effect removed, it was so stupid they removed that effect.
