I should look up a Ghostrick deck profile.

Decided to look up deck profiles. Why does none of them use Drowning Mirror Force? That card seems perfect for a archetype all about direct attacks.

One of these might help if you’re running a more burn-focused deck, since you can then use the main deck monster’s effects to flip them all face down, and then follow it up with Ghostrick Scare.

Burst rebirth has you pay 2000LP to revive a monster from grave in face-down defence, which might help.

In Legacy of the Duelist: Link Evolution, the story decks are still trash.

I made a bug beatdown deck with some mill power and it wins me many more games that it should.

How about Joey VS Bandit Keith?  
Bandit Keith’s deck is impossible to win since the dumbasses who made the decklist only had Blast Sphere the only monster(s) that isn’t Level 5 or higher. Meaning aside from 3 copies of Blast Sphere, all the other monsters are BRICKS without the field spell.  
Meaning you have to hope and pray you get Mausoleum Of The Emperor as quick as possible before your Life Points drop too low or else its bricked city times infinity. And even if you do get a monster out, Joey will just take it out too easily via his backrow like Sakeretsu Armor.

Wait, Alcatraz was made into a military factory before Seto turning it into the place for the finals? The more I learn about Gozaburo, the less I want to know.
 
Marik is a bit of an edgelord. Take away the magic and such and he’s just an edgy man that plays an anime card game.
 
Lets be honest, when isn’t Joey the weak link?
 
Yugi, gun for Marik. Mai and Bakura’s souls are on the line with him. You can duel Joey any time with much lower stakes.
 
And Yugi can’t duel him outside of the tournament because? It’s not hard to have a friendly due with friends. 5Ds even shown that you can do it on the go.
 
Joey sounds like he’s planning on going on a suicide run and wants to thank everyone first.
 
Why am I agreeing with about how long this duel is taking? GX knew to make the character development work with the duel or have it done outside the duel, for the most part.
 
Well, that’s a good way to lose your deck and a few limbs.

Funny how worthless Ra’s raigeki is in the anime, considering how worthless it is in the actual card game. At least that’s accurate.

I call BS. They had the balls to let Joey win, than they were forced to retract them because “only Yugi can beat Marik” for no reason. I hate this anime at times. Couldn’t they have Joey win, but faint afterwards so the finals are still Yugi vs Marik? That could have shaken Marik up, causing him to lose partly due to Joey’s victory making him panic a bit. It would have shown that even if Joey isn’t there physically, he’s still helping Yugi out in spirit. Seto could even let Marik keep Ra since Joey physically can’t accept it.
 
Yugi? Losing an important battle? Don’t make me laugh.

And Battle City’s arc is finally over for me. Finally.

Funny enough, your first anime duel with Bakura did have a way of switching the host with the dark spirit, so we know he can do that. The question is how.
 
And Yugi drew Heavy Storm, destroyed Yami Marik’s set cards, and won the duel shortly after swapping the souls. The End.
 
So Monster Reborn in limited in this arc? Should have mention that earlier.
 
I can’t tell when they’re talking and when they’re just thinking at this point. Their lips stop moving, even Seto’s when he gave Yugi his counter to Ra.
 
You know you’re an anime protagonist when you know you top-decked and don’t even look at the card while you set it.
 
De-Fusion doesn’t work that way. I can accept it ending the battle phase, but not working on Ra in that way.
 
So Egyptian God Slime was an anime card before it was made real in recent support. Neat.
 
Yugi, you know about the Jam Defender trap. Attack with your 4K beater first, and have DMG attack while Slime is reforming.

Oh no. Sighs (ep 144 of DM) is a clipshow of the Battle City arc, isn’t it? DM is losing any charm it had from the start. I wasn’t a fan when 5Ds did it, but it was the first season, not just one arc.
 
On another note, looks like Crunchyroll as the sub of ARC-V and VRAINS. Still only the dub of ZEXAL, though.

I skipped the whole of ep 144 and most of the final season aside from the last two duels in DM.
 
There were only 3 duels in the memory world arc >.>

I skipped 144 for the most part myself. I’ll watch the next arc when I’m in the mood for it.

I should get around to posting all the screenshots I keep on taking of the anime.

Battle City burnt me out of DM for now, so back to GX. I left off right before Chazz and Jaden dueled representing two different schools.
 
Burstinatrix’s OG art makes me think that her name is a pun on “dominatrix.” It fits all too well.
 
I do like how the dub has the brothers say what their part of the plan is, compared to the sub just saying that is the slacker.
 
Sorry Konami, but no matter how much you hype them up, level monsters aren’t very good.
 
Even Crowler can’t stand the brothers, and this is still when he’s still a prick.
 
So Chazz was suppose to return the Armed Dragon deck. Weird they didn’t do that earlier, shortly after the duel. Not like Ojama Yellow was a part of that deck.
 
I guess Jaden needs to earn that extra credit if it’s going to be a shadow duel.

In DM’s sub they’re called shadow games/shadow duels, yet in GX’s sub they’re dark duels. I wonder why the change.

What’s with Assailant’s becoming comically big when she attacks? I’ll never understand that.
 
I’m surprised that no one else thought of summoning their monsters to help speed things up, considering that the furball is physical.

Red-Eyes isn’t even a fire monster. Why the lava and fire?
 
You know, since Seto owns the university, and he knows that this type of stuff is real (and Mokuba does as well if we use DSoD’s continuity), I don’t see why the principle couldn’t get help from the boss who knows how and where the greatest duelist are to protect the sacred beast trio. No child soldier this way.
 
Isn’t Darkness the final villain? I guess GX ended sooner than I realized.

Chazz simps say he should have won against Jaden in the school duel rematch thing.
 
Cos he ‘went through hell’ for his new deck and ‘changed’. Also it would show he didn’t need his brothers help and all. Jaden even acknowledges all the crap Chazz went through when he left Duel academy but still.
 
He deserve to lose again because he’s still an asshole, wanting Jaden to get on his knees and beg while he tried to humiliate him on live Tv.
 
The writers probably don’t want Dorothy kissing the North Academy Headmaster due to how much they ship her with Shepherd
 
Chazz probably wouldn’t have stayed at Duel Academy if he’d won.
 
He’d have another chance to deal with his asshole brothers another time.
 
Chazz is a stuck up asshole and I enjoy seeing him get his butt kicked >.>
 
Manga Chazz however is a lot better and actually deserved a win against Jaden

I’m aware of his duel against his brothers. That’s when the cursed Trio appears.
 
And it makes sense that he lost, since he was dueling both Jaden and his brothers.

Are people hacking in the Quattro event?
 
I’ve been seeing decks with no Number or Xyz monsters dealing large amounts of damage and just now someone with Ishuzu’s vanilla deck which was full of vanilla level 4 or lower normal monsters managed to deal 388000 with no extra deck in a lvl 1000 raid.
 
Also Power of the Guardians will make you miss the timing for double or Nothing
