Unpopular opinion time (super alpha no pony edition)

This reminds of something that happened a bit more locally with a shortline back in May of 2018. Last year, Norfolk Southern decided to redesign a pretty major junction in downtown Chattanooga (that had been a bit of a traffic choke-point for both NS and CSX with how busy and badly designed it was), and announced a 48-hour curfew for operations in the Chattanooga area one weekend, so no trains would be trying to run through there while the junction was being redone.  
Now, this local shortline’s only interchange was with an NS mainline whose eastern terminus was Chattanooga, and they were getting quite a few cars from Chattanooga. You want to know how they found-out about this curfew?
 
Railfans posting about the curfew on a few local railfanning Facebook groups. Yes, really. You’d think the shortline’s one interchange partner, Norfolk Southern, would’ve sent out some kind of notification to the railroad, but nope, apparently that was too good of an idea for them… But this wasn’t the first, nor the last, issue the shortline’s had with NS, so I guess I can’t really say I’m surprised.

Like I’m pretty sure the number of serial killers is still high, we just don’t hear it nowadays because mass shooters have stolen all the fame  
We all probably know who Dylan Roof, Eric Harris and Elliot Rodger is  
But you probably don’t know who Bruce McArthur is or Mark Goudeau  
This is worse because mass shooters want to be known

Also on the topic if recasts. Yeah it’s pretty shit how the entertainment industry as a whole doesn’t seem will g to notify anyone if they have been replaced

I admit it, i did miss the point because i thought he wanted the original voices back when in reality it’s about the problems with recasting without telling anyone they’re being recast.
 
My question is never answered because questions these days are always overreacting instead of just questions.

It’s mostly just your questions. You were too focused on what you perceived the problem was that you ignored what he was saying and his point, so your questions weren’t related to the topic on-hand.

Do you mean “The New Scooby-Doo Movies”?
 
That was a series from the 70’s that featured the Scooby-Doo gang meeting and interacting with celebrities from the time (Dick Van Dyke, Harlem Globetrotters, Tim Conway, ect)
 
Apparently a new version of the show is coming out next year

And no, I’m not just saying that because I’m an atheist though that certainly does help.

Revealing that a benevolent, ultra intelligent character has planned out all the events seen in the series/movie/game/etc and has outgambited all the real villains is the worst writing trope ever and I have no idea how people can defend it.
 
Like, way to reveal that your conflict is pointless and your opponents are garbage.

Oh yeah, that bothered me too. It also bugs me when, like, they try to remake or adapt things that definitively aren’t action-based into action movies? It always seems like it’s missing the point.

It’s a dystopian young adult novel whose main character is a twelve-year-old boy. I remember that in the movie, they changed him to be sixteen and needlessly threw in a romance subplot with a character who was barely present in the original.

Well, it did get adapted/remade (adapted from the original novel, remade from the older film adaptation), but director/star Kenneth Branagh stuck pretty closely to the plot of the original. I don’t remember any action movie elements from it or remember them trying to turn it into an action movie franchise.
