Then if you feel so strongly, you should extend those morals to every fetish that could be seen as creepy or influential to real life. Until you do, don’t pretend like you care.

When characters are underaged i just draw them older.

Pedophelia is fucked up, but making any art illegal is a complex moral issue. Maybe lolicon shouldn’t be encouraged, or even shared online, but it shouldn’t be equated to CP, especially when it’s vaguely underage or too ambiguous to tell, measuring art with rulers to try and figure out if it’s legal or not doesn’t work.

I can legally draw a child getting chainsawed in half, as long as their clothes are on. If i did i wouldn’t wag it around trying to expose it people that didn’t ask. There is a lot of things you don’t just show people, even on the internet. Still shouldn’t make art illegal.

That’s the wonder of tags and content warnings. Sadly people don’t always tag things, especially things they see as ‘normal’, so it exposes them to people whom didn’t ask. However, underage stuff and incest and gore and other things people bitch about the most tend to always be tagged the best out of anything else. So they’re very unlikely to come across them unprompted.

Lolicon artists don’t try to do work-arounds towards the age. They just do it. I can understand the apprehension but if someone is drawing Luz Noceda as very clear adult, sometimes they flat out just say its an adult, it would seem to me that the artist thinks adults, distinctly not children.

I’ve seen plenty of galleries with aged up characters and not one loli to be seen. I really don’t think that dude’s a pedo.

Actually I looked it up, art can be illegal if it is deemed to be inciting violence.

I could draw something so edgy I would actually go to jail. I could depict realistic modern killing techniques being used on people, and then it can be argued I’m teaching people how to kill.

I’ll never be as cool as Shadman. That guy is labled as a menace to society in Switzerland for his art. He’s the kind of black pill i’m too pussy to be.

If he did that’s fucked up. I always hate it when the cool crazy people go full sex offender (now he’s like Chris Chan). It should require consent to depict anyone in fiction, and if that depiction is sexual it needs adult consent.

Actually Chris Chan drew porn of a girl without her consent, so he was already sex offender before the Barb incident.

it’s funny because violence is usually the one thing in art no one bats an eye at. (unless you’re ultra conservative, but that’s a different story)

Indeed. I often see antis perfectly okay with violence in fiction and fully understand how it is separate from reality. yet don’t seem to extend the same effort towards lewd content.

I like Doom and Mortal Kombat and both of those raised hell when they first came out. Now little kids are playing games where you use modern weapons of war, against each other online, and shouting racial slurs while they do it.
