I was on that site of Would You Rather where you pick between scenarios, one of them was between Public Speaking and being in a Bed Full of Tarantulas.
The results aren’t important, but the comments were full of the most pretentious, head-in-ass folk I’ve ever heard. Bemoaning how ‘cowardly’ humans wouldn’t be in a bed of ‘harmless’ spiders, and how it was the better option.
Like, I’m no spider expert, but I’m damn sure the easily-spooked bugs covered in irritant-causing hair many times less the size of the average human would also rather we take the podium.
Don’t fall in love with animals so hard, you lose the human perspective. And all your common sense with it.
