I’m sorry, your post should not have been deleted for Rule #6. It was a mistake by one of our volunteers.
 
Please remember that whatever you post here is publicly available, and posts that either show someone might be a risk of self harm, or harm to others, used to be something that we had to report to authorities (which, being this is an international site, wasn’t always very straight forward) including your ISP.
 
However, since GDPR happened we no longer ‘clearly’ have to do that. In fact, it might now be illegal for us to do that, depending on which country you live in. So, we’re still trying to figure out how to handle posts like yours. We want to do what we can, but there’s a tangled swamp of legal do’s and don’ts. So, as much as we can we’re doing what we feel is right, is minimally compliant with what we think we have to do, and what we want to do and would hope someone would do for us.

This is on topic, because I am very angry.

I just spent two hours working on my college portfolio. I feel like I did good, but this has also left me tired and exhausted.

The Indonesian fellow who loves pool and always talks about mobile phones. I guess life and responsibilities called in and he might not be able to hang out with us anymore.
 
This could be my fate soon if I’m in charge with every single thing that’s running in my family’s business.

I believe the last time I was ever knocked out in a random fistfight with someone else in my life is that he has cauliflower ear. Back in high school.

Now that I am corrections officer I am busy and stressed out by having to watch over offenders 12 hours every couple of days. The segregation houses are the worst. And now this shit year is pushing covid passports to make me even more stressed and pissed. The right of movement is a fundamental right that I will not give up along with my right to speech and my right to own a gun.

Algebra is STUPID! Simple arithmetic is FINE in most everyday situations!

I just had to wake up with so much stress….

Algebra is a form of arithmatic and you use it more often than you think.
 
If you’ve ever calculated interest, for example, you’ve used algebra and stats. If you own or work for a business that requires predictive math for stuff like stocking, calculating needed work hours, or prorates/itemization you are using algebraic principles.
 
Also, if you want to learn economics, stuff like inflation, value calculation, rates, etc all use some basic algebraic principles.
 
 
Athrimatic is just “the study of numbers and their operations”, and it does not take much for a problem to leap from “basic math” to algebra. If more than one part of an equation has to be calculated, which is common, you are using algebraic methods.

Pretty much abusing it like a spoiled 14 year old girl with my petty rants….

The answer to 8÷2(2+2) is 16 cause these people has never learn the PEMDAS rule from Algebra, something I have learned years ago.
