Darn, my mother has been hit real hard by the Sinopharm 2nd Dose, she’s currently very sick on her bed, I’m really worried of her.

Love how I’m being blamed for the water heater going out. Like gee, nevermind the fact the damn thing almost as old as i am.

So I’ve noticed…

I’m someone who is absolutely fascinated by gemstones, to the point of it being a pocket obsession of mine.
 
I was in the process of joining a gemologist group when I stumbled upon a hilariously sad warning telling “new agers” to stop putting toxic gemstones into water to make crystal potions.
 
 
I can see it now, some rando new ager dropping some malachite into a bottle of water for a week and giving themselves nerve damage.
 
The fact that a science based society has to have a warning to people not to eat gemstones for healing purposes saddens me.
 
 
And before you say it, yes there is an irony in a Pagan saying this. There’s a big difference, however, in using a crystal to represent an aspect of nature or a god for ritual purposes and someone believing a rock is going to cure cancer.
 
It’s like the difference between a Christian praying with a cross and a one who attends a bullshit faith healing session where a guy says he can blow covid away with God.

Thankfully, you don’t live here, we’re pretty crazy around here. And I’ve heard people saying that stuff like mental illnesses and COVID-19 is going to be cured magically by God a lot of times in here.
 
I’m Christian, yeah, I pray to God, perhaps, not too often gotta admit, but I’m definitely not someone who simply stops going to a trained professional or getting the drugs you need because “God will save you”. And I’m tired of arguing with others that have that mentality.

I think my stomach has decided I’m over cheetos.

That’s a good saying, and the Bible does state, “Don’t put God to test.” That’s something fanatics need to learn, like the snake handling churches, and such.
 
Similarly, atheists shouldn’t put too much stock in things they’re passionate for too. Like a political party, or something. Humans are imperfect by nature.
