Social media, and mass media in general, has given the mentally ill too big of a platform.

Why would Newsweek give airtime to an schizophrenic who runs a platform about “birds not being real”, and moreover why would they then cover his on air breakdown and subsequent ramblings. Why would this insane moron have a following of hundreds of thousands of people?

Because the old adage that the media likes a trainwreck still applies, but the problem is that it’s now turning those wrecks into megaphones to give a voice to people who really, really shouldn’t have one.

The way social media platforms are structured as businesses hinge on traffic. Controversy and shit brings in traffic.
All for the clicks.
People do things because they can.

Honestly though. I’d rather they be allowed to express all forms of mental illness for the world to see rather than allow one or certain illness(es) over the others.
Rational minded folks also exist.

Oh you can vent without really getting angry. I do it all the time, though I used to be misunderstood on it alot. I try to fish for a good conversation, not just making people mad or uncomfortable.

what’s the difference? I’m guessing the nighttime one has antihistamine in it.

An artist I was going to commission didn’t choose my form and I’m waiting on a confirmation email from another. Jesus Christ I just want a reference sheet. Why is this so difficult?
